Internal Sales Co-ordinator 

RESPONSIBLE TO                        Sales Office Manager

RESPONSIBLE  FOR       

ORGANISATION                 Production Manager, Production Planner

COOPERATION WITH       Transport Manager, Studio Manager

GENERAL PURPOSE       To assist  the Sales Office Manager with  the activities of the

Sales Office from order enquiry to delivery and provide a

complete service to  achieve 100% customer satisfaction.

MAJOR DUTIES

1.                  To ensure that all orders and enquiries are processed accurately and on time to customer specification.

2.                  To liaise with Production and Design Departments to ensure that orders and enquiries are processed correctly.

3.                  To work in accordance with the established Quality Management System

4.                  To process all incoming enquiries for new work by

-           deciding whether the enquiry is viable

­                      ensuring that the order is specified correctly

­                      following up with customer                          

5.                  To follow up all quotations with a call to the customer with a request for the order

6.                  To contact existing customers on a regular basis

­                      normal courtesy call

­                      determine whether repeat or other orders are required

7.                  To liaise with customers concerning orders placed and work in progress - particularly with perceived problems.

8.                  To liaise with Sales Representatives and Transport Manager re job progress

9.                  To monitor and control stock holdings and issue stock reports.

10.             To liaise with sales Representative concerning

­                      individual call-plans

­                      customer contact planning

­                      new account development

11.             To generate high quality enquiries and appointments for field sales personnel with prospective customers 

12.             To complete all necessary administrative duties associated with the efficient running of the sales office. 

13.             To undertake any other related duties as specified by the Sales Office Manager 

Previous, similar experience essential – preferably in packaging or other manufacturing environment.

Good customer-relation skills essential

Good I.T. skills essential – particularly use of spread sheets.

Driving license required as some customer visits involved
