Commercial Category Manager

Our clients have seen major growth over recent years and Category Management has played a key role in this growth and is expected to do the same in years to come. This new category manager role will add to the existing team to create an exciting dynamic department that will provide key insight & direction to the business and retailers alike
When you join us a Category Manager you will….
• Working with a minimum of 2 key accounts, the Category Manager will influence the retailer regarding share of space, on shelf positioning and reviewing range and new product recommendations
• Work with Marketing teams to review category performance, indentifying opportunities for growth in sales
• Work closely with Business Managers to develop customer relationships in each account.
Do you have a passion for Category Management and want to develop your career in the exciting world of Confectionery? Are you an individual who has the drive, enthusiasm and an eye for insightful detail? We have a requirement in our Commercial Sales department for an additional Category Manager.

This is a key role for our clients so you must have a strong category, sales or marketing background, ideally with experience in a retail or FMCG environment. Your analytical skills will be razor sharp, with the proven ability to analyse complex commercial data.
Finally, this role requires you to be an outstanding relationship builder, bringing influencing skills to both internal and external colleagues.

Salary circa £30,000 + benefits (Company Car, Individual Health Care, Pension plus Management Bonus Scheme)
