Business Travel Consultant - Rail - Derby

Blue Chip Business Travel Company with offices based in Central Derby, seeking Hotel and Rail Travel Reservations Consultants to join their team due to continual success and growth.

This position would be ideal for individuals that have worked within a hotel reception environment or that have worked for a train company and that also have strong customer services experience. You may also have worked in the travel  industry previously, hotel reservations or hospitality.

As a Hotel or Rail Travel Reservations Consultant you will

- Be working as part of a contact centre team, servicing one or multiple clients for their accommodation or rail requirements
- Use Amadeus, MS Excel and the Internet
- Deal with booking by phone, email, fax and online
- Attend at least 3 educationals a year to increase product knowledge

As a Hotel or Rail Travel Reservations Consultant you will ideally have

- Previous hotel reservations experience or experience of working within a hotel as a receptionist, front of house, have gained experience of working for a train company
- Good geography and ideally knowledge of UK and overseas hotel chains and rail networks (training can also be provided)
- Excellent customer services skills

In return for your roles as a Hotel or Rail Travel Reservations Consultant, you will

- Receive a competitive salary dependent on previous experience gained alongside a contributory pension after qualifying period and life assurance
- Work Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (any overtime paid at time and a half)
- Be flexible to cover 8am - 4.30pm and 10am - 6.30pm shifts, about once every 6 weeks
- Start on 23 days holiday (rising to 27 days over time)
